North Simcoe Economic Action Initiative

Economic development is essential for the future of the four municipalities of North Simcoe.  Accordingly the four mayors of the North Simcoe municipalities have initiated the  creation of the Economic Action Initiative (EAI) and approached their respective Councils to gain their agreement to further define and identify the resources required for the EAI.

 

On December 19, 2011 the Council of the Town of Midland fully endorsed the North Simcoe EAI Strategy Documents  title  Part 1- Vision and Strategy and Part 2  Organization-Actions-Budget.  The EAI Strategy documents lay the foundation for a shared an interest in the area economic development and the  pursuit of  common area economic devleopment goals..

Economic Development

Each year the staff compile numerous statistics corresponding with the past year's development activity.  This statistical package includes mapping, charts and information sheets relating to Residential, Commercial and Industrial development.
